Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data GrooveSteps collects, how cookies and advertising work on this site, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 14 June 2026
The basics
GrooveSteps ("we", "us") operates groovesteps.com and its tools at /drums/ and /studio/. The interactive tools run in your browser; the music you create is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to us.
Information we collect
- Usage analytics — aggregated, non-identifying data (pages viewed, device type, approximate region) via Google Analytics, to understand how the tools are used.
- Information you send us — if you use a contact or booking form, we receive what you submit (e.g. name, email, message) to reply.
- Server logs — standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept for security and reliability.
Cookies and advertising
GrooveSteps uses cookies for analytics and to display ads. We use Google AdSense to serve advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices.
Your consent choices (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential advertising and analytics cookies, in line with Google's consent requirements. You can change or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie/consent control on the site.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers that make the site work (e.g. Google Analytics and Google AdSense), each under their own privacy terms.
